SOOTY
We have to start the page with "Sooty" registered name Ballyfoyle Tess Sir(Ballyfoyle Luke) Dame (Ballyfoyle Banrion). Sooty is 6 years old and we got her in April from Marie Mc Neill of the Bailielands Kennel. She is a typical Ballyfoyle Glen in type, short legged, stocky, big head. A lovely silver blue Coat. She is has a friendly temperment and we are glad to have her at our kennel.
FIONN
This is our first pup born in the Ballyclare Kennel. His registered name is Ballyclare Finn Mc Cool and we named him after the Irish hero Finn Mc Cool. We call him "Fionn" for short. His Father is Max (Ballyclare Boy) and mother is Sally (Sally's Wonder) - both are in our kennels and can be seen below. Fionn is such a character around the house, and is adored by his mother and father and he is well able to play the two of them! He is full of life and energy as only a pup can be. Fionn is also a very strong build, has an excellent coat and ears. Fionn is 6 months old in this photo...
SALLY
This is Sally and she was my first glen. Sally's registered name is Sally's Wonder and her father is (Bailielands Bruce) and mother (Knockroe Poppy). Sally has a lovely temperament, very easy going around the house but bursts into hipper mode when brought hunting and loves to run through cover. Sally is the mother of Fionn (above) and he was the only pup in her first litter so we had to keep him. Sally still minds him as if he was a young pup. She has a shorter coat than Max and Fionn but still a nice wheaten with some red down her back. Sally is now 3 years old.
MAX
The last of our dogs is the one and only "Ballyclare Boy". we call him Max for short. He is a lovely dog standing 13.5 inches of the ground and very strongly built. He certainly passed on all his good features to Fionn. Max's father is (CH Mc Georgan Bran) and mother (Ballyfoyle Sky Blue). Max is our show dog and has won one green star so far, and many firsts in Glen shows. He is 1 year and 8 months old. Max is heavy boned with a lovely Wheaten coat and good ears.
